Your First Visit
Please arrive about 10 minutes early so that you have enough time to complete a New Patient form.
Initial Examination
Your dentist will begin by reviewing your medical and dental history and completing a comprehensive dental examination. Your exam will include a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening and any required X-rays.
Treatment Plan
Your dentist will develop a dental treatment plan for you based on your history and examination. During your visit, you will also have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
Insurance & Payments
At Shelburne Smile Centre, we'll help you navigate our options for payment, insurance, and financing so you can focus on achieving your dental goals.
Insurance Claims
We can bill your insurance provider for your dental services. Our front desk team is also available to help you with any paperwork that you may have and answer your questions about the process.
Payment Methods
The full treatment cost (or the patient portion if directly billed to your insurance) must be paid at the end of your appointment. We accept payment by cash, debit or most major credit cards.
Support for Anxious Patients
Nervous about the dentist? We understand that some people experience anxiety just thinking about visiting the dentist. Dental sedation allows you to relax while we complete your dental work.
